Southeast Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...High pressure extends from the western Atlantic Ocean to the N central Gulf of Mexico. The high pressure will weaken across the Gulf of Mexico today, as a cold front moves off the Texas coast early this afternoon. The front will reach from the western Florida Panhandle to Tampico, Mexico by Sunday morning, before stalling and weakening from the Florida Keys to the SW Gulf of Mexico on Monday. The front will weaken on Tuesday, as it moves northward as a warm front. Gale force winds are expected west of the front in the far SW Gulf of Mexico, from early Sunday evening through Sunday night. .TONIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. The high center will shift slowly southeastward through Sunday night, ahead of a cold front that will move off the northeast Florida coast by late Sunday. The front will reach from near Bermuda to the Florida Keys by Monday afternoon, before stalling and weakening along 26N through Tuesday night.
