Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front extending from the Florida Big
Bend to the central Bay of Campeche will quickly move across the
remainder of the basin overnight, then stall and dissipate from
Straits of Florida to the Yucatan Peninsula on Wed. Gale force
winds are still expected tonight in the SW Gulf behind the front
with seas building around 10 ft. Southerly return flow will
prevail across the Gulf region Thu through Sat. The next cold
front is forecast to move across the Gulf waters on Sun. 

.TONIGHT...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming NW to N 20 to
25 kt late. Seas 3 ft, subsiding to 2 ft or less, then, building
to 3 to 5 ft late. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.WED...N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms. 
.WED NIGHT...NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.THU...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft, subsiding to
3 to 5 ft. 
.THU NIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.FRI...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE late. Seas 2 ft
or less. 
.SAT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SUN...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN NIGHT...SW winds 5 to 10 kt,  shifting to E to SE late. Seas

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure over the central Atlantic will support
moderate to fresh E to SE winds through tonight. Southerly winds
will increase east of Florida tonight ahead of a cold front
forecast to enter the SW N Atlantic tonight. The front will
reach from near Bermuda to north-central Cuba by Wed night. A
weak low pressure could develop along the front E of the Bahamas
on Thu,  and persist on Fri. Then, the low is forecast to move
NE and N of the area by Fri night, dragging the associated cold
front across  the SE waters on Sat. 

.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 15 to 20 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of 27N. 
.WED...S of 27N, S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to W 15 to
20 kt, Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft. N of 27N, NW winds
20 to 25 kt, Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms. 
.WED NIGHT...N to NE winds 20 to 25 kt S of 27N, and N to NE
15 to 20 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms. 
.THU...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft S of 27N, and
5 to 7 ft N of 27N. 
.THU NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and
4 to 6 ft N of 27N.
