Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front extending from the western
Florida Panhandle to near Poza Rica, will quickly move across
the basin overnight, then stall and dissipate from Straits of
Florida to the Yucatan Peninsula Wed. Southerly return flow will
prevail across the basin Thu and Fri. Currently, gale force
northerly winds follow the front. These winds will persist over
the SW Gulf through tonight. 

.TONIGHT...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming NW 20 to 25 kt
late. Seas 3 ft, subsiding to 2 ft or less, then, building to
3 to 5 ft late. 
.WED...N to NE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.WED NIGHT...NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.THU...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.THU NIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.FRI...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure over the central Atlantic will support
moderate to fresh E to SE winds through tonight. Southerly winds
will increase east of Florida tonight ahead of a cold front. The
front will reach from Bermuda to northern Cuba Wed night, then 
weaken and dissipate from 27N65W through the central Bahamas by 
late Thu. Southerly return flow will develop across the region 
Fri, with winds increasing Sat. 

.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 15 to
20 kt N of 27N. S of 27N, seas 3 ft, subsiding to 2 ft or less. N
of 27N, seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.WED...S of 27N, S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming W to NW
20 to 25 kt, Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft. N of 27N, NW
winds 20 to 25 kt, Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms. 
.WED NIGHT...N winds 20 to 25 kt S of 27N, and N to NE 20 to
25 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and isolated

.THU...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and NE 15 to 20 kt N
