Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Gale force northerly winds are expected offshore of
Tamaulipas and Veracruz this afternoon and tonight. A strong
cold front passes through Louisiana near 30N91.5W, to 27N94W, to
the coast of Mexico near 25N97.5W. The front will move to a line
from the Florida Panhandle, to 25N92W, to 21N97W by this
afternoon. The cold front will continue to a line from SW
Florida near 26.5N82W to 24N84.5W, to the Yucatan Peninsula near
21.5N88W by tonight. The cold front will dissipate from the
Straits of Florida to the Yucatan Peninsula on Wednesday.
Southerly return flow will prevail across the basin on Thursday
and Friday.

.TONIGHT...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming SW to W 15 to 20 kt
late in the evening, then, shifting to NW to N 20 to 25 kt after
midnight. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.WED...N to NE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure in the central Atlantic Ocean will 
support moderate to fresh E to SE winds through tonight.
Southerly winds will increase east of Florida tonight, ahead of
a cold  front. The front will reach from Bermuda to northern
Cuba on Wednesday night, then weaken and dissipate from 27N65W
through  the central Bahamas by late Thursday. Southerly return
flow will  develop across the region on Friday, with the wind
speeds  increasing on Saturday.
