Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front will move across the Gulf waters today
followed by strong to gale force northerly winds and building
seas. Strong southerly winds are also expected ahead of the
front, forecast to reach a position from the Florida Big Bend to
the eastern Bay of Campeche tonight. Winds and seas will
diminish across the Gulf Thu as the front moves southeast of the
region. Winds and seas will increase Sat into Sun over the
southern Gulf as another frontal boundary moves through the
basin. 


.TODAY...SE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. 
.TONIGHT...S to SW winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. 
.THU...W to NW winds 20 to 25 kt, becoming NW to N 10 to 15 kt in
the afternoon. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms.

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front along roughly 21N into eastern
Cuba will dissipate today. High pressure north of the area in
the wake of the front will maintain fresh to strong E to SE
winds over the area through late Thu. Southerly winds will 
increase further off NE Florida tonight ahead of an approaching 
cold front, reaching gale force north of 29N west of 73W Thu.
The  front will stall and dissipate from Bermuda to eastern Cuba
by  Sat. A weak reinforcing front will move off northeast
Florida by  late Sat, and reach from Bermuda to the Straits of
Florida by late Sun.

.TODAY...SE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft S of 27N, and 6 to
9 ft N of 27N. 
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft S of 27N,
and 7 to 10 ft N of 27N. 
.THU...S to SW winds 20 to 25 kt S of 27N, and SW 20 to 30 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft S of 27N, and 8 to 11 ft N of 27N.
