Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure ridge from the W Atlc to N central
Gulf will shift E today. Fresh to strong S return flow will
develop in the western Gulf of Mexico tonight through Sat. A
strong cold front is expected to reach the NW Gulf of Mexico Sat
morning. It is likely that a line of rainshowers and
thunderstorms will precede the front. Winds to gale force are
expected behind the front along the coast of Mexico near Tampico
on Saturday afternoon shifting to near Veracruz Saturday night.
The front will exit the Gulf by Sun evening and allow strong
winds to taper off over the basin by sunrise on Mon.

.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 to 4 ft in the afternoon. 
.SAT NIGHT...SW to W winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.SUN...NW winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 8 to 11 ft in W to NW swell. 
.SUN NIGHT...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 8 to 11 ft in W to NW
swell. 
.MON...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft in NW swell.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure will drift eastward from the SE 
United States toward Bermuda through Sat afternoon. Winds will 
veer to the S, and then strengthen Sat afternoon through Sun 
morning E of Florida and ahead of a strong cold front. The 
strong cold front will push off the Florida peninsula Sun
morning  and extend from 31N79W to 28N80W, then reach from
31N74W to 27N75W to eastern Cuba Sun night and finally stretch
from 27N65W to near the Windward Passage on Mon. Minimal gale
force winds will be  possible on either side of the front N of
28N and W of 60W Sun  through Mon. Seas could build as high as
20 ft in NW swell behind the front near 31N65W on Tue.

27N. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers.

.SAT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 15 to 20 kt N

afternoon.

30 kt N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft.
