Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong winds and large seas in the eastern
Gulf will diminish and subside today. A surface high in the SW
Gulf of Mexico will shift NE across the central waters today,
and move across the Florida Panhandle on Sunday. A weak cold
front will move into the northern Gulf waters by Sunday
afternoon, stalling and washing out there through early Monday
afternoon. Fresh return flow will set up across the NW waters on
Tuesday with these conditions spreading E across the entire gulf
waters on Wednesday.  

.TODAY...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 8 to 11 ft in W to NW swell. 
.TONIGHT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft in W to NW swell,
subsiding to 3 to 5 ft late. 
.SUN...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.SUN NIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.MON...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning,

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front continues from 31N67W to 26N70W beyond
SE Cuba will continue moving SE, stalling from 27N65W to the 
Windward Passage tonight. Near gale to gale force southwesterly 
flow will prevail W of the front until sunrise. Remnants of the 
front will drift NW on Monday and Tuesday, with winds and seas 
continuing to diminish across the region this weekend. Moderate 
to fresh easterlies expected S of 28N on Tuesday and Wednesday. 

.TODAY...S of 27N,NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. N of 27N,W to NW
winds 20 to 25 kt, becoming NW 10 to 15 kt late in the afternoon.
Seas 6 to 8 ft. 
.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and NW to N 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.SUN...NE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and N 5 to 10 kt N of 27N.
Seas 3 ft until late afternoon, subsiding to 2 ft or less.
