Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Strong to gale force winds in the central and
eastern Gulf will diminish from W to E across the basin through
this afternoon. Large seas of up to 20 ft will subside to less
than 8 ft by late Sat. High pres building behind the front will
shift eastward across the central Gulf on Sat, and move across
the Florida Panhandle on Sun, leaving a ridge from the Florida
Big Bend to SE Texas on Mon. Fresh return flow will set up
across the NW waters on Tue.

.TODAY...W winds 30 to 35 kt. Seas 15 to 20 ft. 
.TONIGHT...W to NW winds 20 to 30 kt, shifting to NW 15 to 20 kt
late. Seas 14 to 19 ft, subsiding to 10 to 15 ft late. 
.SAT...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt, becoming N 5 to 10 kt. Seas
8 to 11 ft. 
.SAT NIGHT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front over the western waters will shift
across the forecast waters, stalling from near 27N65W to the
Windward  Passage Sat night. Near gale to gale force southerly
flow will prevail W of the front, and N of 27N E of the front
today, before diminishing by early Sat. Remnants of the stalled
front will  drift NW on Mon and Tue, with winds and seas
diminishing across  the region this weekend.

.TODAY...SW to W winds 25 to 35 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 30 to
40 kt N of 27N. Seas 8 to 11 ft S of 27N, and 10 to 15 ft N of
27N.

N of 27N. Seas 7 to 10 ft S of 27N, and 9 to 14 ft N of 27N.
