Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front will move E across the eastern
gulf waters overnight preceded by lines of tstms and followed by 
large seas. Strong to gale force winds will spread E across the 
entire Gulf of Mexico overnight, then diminish from the W with the
gale conditions diminishing across the Straits of Florida late 
Fri. Seas are forecast to subside to less than 8 ft by late Sat. 
High pres will shift eastward across the central gulf on Sat, then
move across the Florida Panhandle on Sun leaving a ridge from the
Florida Big Bend to Se Texas on Mon.

.TONIGHT...SW to W winds 25 to 35 kt. Seas 11 to 16 ft in SW to W
swell. Scattered showers. 
.FRI...W winds 30 to 35 kt. Seas 16 to 21 ft in W swell. 
.FRI NIGHT...W to NW winds 20 to 30 kt, shifting to NW 15 to
20 kt late. Seas 13 to 18 ft in W to NW swell. 
.SAT...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt, becoming N 5 to 10 kt late in
the afternoon. Seas 8 to 11 ft in W to NW swell. 
.SAT NIGHT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft in W to NW
swell, subsiding to 3 to 5 ft after midnight. 
.SUN...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...Near gale to gale force southerly flow is developing
W of 75W ahead of a strong cold front moving off the the SE 
United States coast preceded by lines of tstms. The cold front 
will reach from near 30N75W to west- central Cuba early Fri.
Winds and seas will diminish across the region on Sat.

showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.FRI...SW to W winds 25 to 35 kt S of 27N, and SW 30 to 40 kt N
of 27N. Seas 8 to 13 ft in SW to W swell. Scattered thunderstorms. 
.FRI NIGHT...W to NW winds 20 to 30 kt S of 27N, and W 25 to
35 kt N of 27N. Seas 8 to 13 ft in W swell. Scattered showers.
