Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front extends from a 1002 mb low
pressure system centered over southeastern Louisiana to 26N89W
to 22N93W and to 18N95W. Numerous showers and thunderstorms are
along and ahead of the front. The low pressure system will
strengthen as it lifts north-northeast through Fri night, with
the cold front quickly moving east of the Gulf tonight. Strong
to gale force southerly winds will develop ahead of the front
today, followed by westerly gale force winds behind the front,
with very large seas expected to build over the east-central
waters tonight and Fri. Scattered showers are expected behind
the front. High pres will shift eastward across the central gulf
on Sat, then move across the Florida Panhandle on Sun.

Numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...SW to W winds 25 to 35 kt. Seas 11 to 16 ft in SW to W

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Strong to near gale force southerly flow north of
the Bahamas this morning will increase to gale force east and 
west of a strong cold front that will move off the the SE U.S. 
coast tonight. The cold front will reach from near 30N75W to
west-central Cuba by early on Fri and from near 30N72W to the SE
Bahamas and eastern Cuba on Fri evening, with gale force winds 
expected over the waters west of about 72W. The front will begin 
to weaken as it reaches from Bermuda to near 26N70W and to near 
the Windward Passage by early Sat afternoon and become stationary 
from near 27N65W to SE Bahamas and to eastern Cuba Sun. Winds and 
seas will diminish across the region Sat and Sun.

27N, except 25 to 35 kt N of 29N W of 79W. Seas 6 to 9 ft, except 
building to 9 to 14 ft N of 29N W of 79W. Winds and seas higher in
and near numerous showers and thunderstorms.
.TONIGHT...S to SW winds 25 to 35 kt. Seas 8 to 11 ft S of 27N,
and 10 to 16 ft N of 27N. Scattered showers and isolated 
thunderstorms.
.FRI...S of 27N, SW to W winds 30 to 35 kt. Seas 8 to 12 ft. N of
27N, SW winds 30 to 40 kt. Seas 12 to 20 ft. Scattered showers and
