Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A developing intense low pressure system will move
E-NE from Texas to the Carolinas on Wed through Thu night,
dragging a strong and convective cold front across the Gulf
waters. Marine conditions are expected to rapidly deteriorate
across the region Thu afternoon as the low deepens. Gale force
winds are likely north of 25N across the central and northern
Gulf on Thu and Fri. Seas will build to a maximum around 20 ft
on Fri over the central Gulf.

.TONIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 to
4 ft in the afternoon. Scattered thunderstorms. 
.WED NIGHT...SE to S winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Numerous
showers and scattered thunderstorms. 
.THU...SW winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 7 to 10 ft in S to SW swell.
Numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms. 
.THU NIGHT...W winds 25 to 35 kt. Seas 10 to 15 ft in W swell. 
.FRI...W winds 30 kt. Seas 14 to 19 ft in W swell.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Remnants of a stationary front from 25N65W to E 
Cuba will drift NW on Wed and Thu. Strong southerly flow will
develop N of the Bahamas early Thu increasing to minimal gale
force late Thu ahead and behind of a strong cold front on Thu
night and Fri. The front will reach from 29N65W to Hispaniola on
Sat night with associated winds diminishing to 20 kt or less.
Large seas will subside from the W into early next week.
