Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front over the SE gulf will shift SE of the
Gulf of Mexico today. High pres building in the wake of the
front will prevail through midweek. The next cold front will
move into the NW Gulf Thu, quickly reaching the eastern Gulf
late Thu night, pushing SE of the Basin Fri Night. Strong to
near gale force winds will follow the front.  

.TODAY...NW to N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TUE...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 5 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front from 31N75W to S Florida will shift E 
across the basin through Wed. A reinforcing cold front will move 
across the northern waters Tue, with the two boundaries merging by
Wed. Gale winds are possible N of 29N and E of 77W with the next 
front. Return flow will dominate for the end of the week, with 
another potentially strong cold front impacting the NW portion by 
late Fri. 

.TODAY...NW winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and W to NW 15 to 20 kt N
of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of 27N. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and W to NW 15 to
20 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of
