Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from Cross City, Florida to
25N90W and to just south of Tampico, Mexico will move
southeastward reaching from near Tampa Bay to central Gulf near
25N90W to near Veracruz, Mexico late tonight and from central
Florida to the central Bay of Campeche by Tue morning. Strong
high pressure in the wake of the front will bring fresh to
strong northerly winds to much of the western and central Gulf
beginning early on Tue. Winds could reach minimal gale force
near Veracruz by Tue night and last into early Wed. The front is
forecast to extend from southern Florida to the south-central
Gulf near 23N90W to the eastern Bay of Campeche by Tue night,
and move southeast of the area by Wed evening. High pressure in
its wake will slide eastward across the Gulf through Sat as
another cold front moves across the north-central and western
Gulf followed by strong northerly winds. 

.TONIGHT...SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft until early
morning, subsiding to 2 ft or less. Scattered showers. 
.TUE...W to NW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 to 4 ft in the late morning and afternoon. 
.TUE NIGHT...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure over the area will shift eastward
through Wed in response to a cold front that is presently moving
across the far northwest part of the area. The cold front will 
reach from near 31N73W to Melbourne by early Tue, from near near
30N66W to southern Florida by Tue night, and from near 30N65W to 
the Straits of Florida on Wed morning. A second surge of cold air 
will support fresh to locally strong winds behind the front Wed 
evening through Thu morning. The cold front will reach from near 
28N65W to the southeastern Bahamas and to eastern Cuba early on 
Thu, and begin to weaken over the far southeastern waters later on
Thu and through Sat and transition to a trough. 

.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 15 to
20 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Winds and seas higher in and near 
scattered showers and thunderstorms northwest part.
.TUE...S of 27N,S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to W late in
the afternoon. N of 27N, NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
.TUE NIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and NW to N 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Isolated showers and thunderstorms.
.WED...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and NW to N 15 to
