Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front stretches SW from southern
Alabama to a 1006 mb low near 23N95W to the western Bay of
Campeche. The northern portion of the front will transition to a
cold front later today and extend from Panama City to 27N93W by
Mon morning. A reinforcing cold front will merge with this front
by Mon night. The merged front will then extend from central
Florida to Tampico Tue night and from Miami to Veracruz Wed
morning. Strong high pressure building southward behind the
merged front will generate strong winds beginning early on Tue.
SREF and GEFS guidance both suggest these winds could reach gale
force near Veracruz Tue night.

.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.MON...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and

.MON NIGHT...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft until early
morning, subsiding to 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and

.TUE...SW winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to NW 10 to 15 kt in the
afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE NIGHT...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.WED...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure centered near 29N62W will gradually
move E into the central Atlc through Wed. Fresh to strong S to
SW winds  will affect the waters N of 27N and W of 65W through
Mon night as a cold front approaches the Georgia coast. The
front will push SE into the NW waters early on Tue and extend
from 31N73W to Jupiter, Florida near 1200 UTC. By Wed morning
the front will extend from 31N65W to the southern tip of Andros
Island. Strong winds ahead  of the front will affect the waters
N of 28N through Tue night. A second push of cold air will
support fresh to locally strong winds across the northern waters
Wed night through Thu.
