Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to near gale force south-southwest winds are
across the north-central and NE Gulf ahead of a cold front
expected to come off the Texas coast later today. The front will
stall from Pensacola, Florida to El Mezquital, Mexico on Sun
morning, then will lift slowly northward through Mon. The front
will then merge with a reinforcing cold front that will move
across central Florida on Tue and south Florida on Wed. Strong
high pressure building southward behind the front will induce
strong northerly winds west of the reinforcing front, with near
gale to gale force winds likely near Veracruz Tue evening.

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front from 22N56W to NE Hispaniola
adjacent waters will continue to weaken and become diffuse
tonight. High pressure centered near 30N69W will drift eastward
through  Sunday. Southerly winds will strengthen W of 75W later
today  ahead of a cold front expected to push off the Georgia
coast on  Mon. The front will extend from 31N75W to Cape
Canaveral on Tue,  and from 31N67W to Andros Island on Wed
morning.
