Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Southerly winds over the western Gulf will gradually
spread eastward across the entire Gulf by Saturday. A cold front
moving off the Texas coast Sat morning will stall from Louisiana
to near Tampico Mexico Sun morning, then lift slowly northward
as a warm front Sun evening. A strong cold front will reach the
Texas coast on Monday. High pressure building southward behind
the front will induce strong to near gale-force winds behind the
front, with gale force winds possible near Veracruz Tue night.

.TONIGHT...SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Isolated
showers. 
.SAT...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Isolated

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from 22N63W to Hispaniola
will weaken and stall through this evening. High pressure behind
 the front will induce fresh trade winds south of 23N. As the
high shifts E through Sun, S to SW winds over waters north of
27N W of the high will increase, becoming fresh to strong Sat
afternoon  through Sun night. The combined area of swell
associated with a  large low in the central Atlantic and fresh
trade winds in the  deep tropics will dominate the forecast
waters E of 68W through  Monday.

.TODAY...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 5 to 10 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and SE 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 to 4 ft in the late
evening and overnight. 
.SAT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 15 to 20 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Chance of showers.
