Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from weak low pres across N
Florida SW to near 26.5N85W then becomes warm front extending
WNW to SE Texas. The frontal boundaries will lift northward
today as return flow develops across most of basin ahead of next
cold front. This next front will move off the Texas coast late
this afternoon then reach from the Florida Big Bend region to W
Bay of Campeche Mon morning, reach from the Florida Keys to E
Bay of Campeche tue morning then move SE of the area on early
Tue night.  Strong to near gale force northerly winds will
spread S behind the cold front this evening, increasing to
minimal gale force S of 25N behind the front late Sun night, and
spread S across the far SW waters near Veracruz Mon morning
through evening. High pres will dominate the basin through the
rest of the week. 

.TODAY...SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding
to 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON...SW to W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft early in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less, then, building to 3 ft in the
afternoon. 
.MON NIGHT...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TUE...NW to N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.TUE NIGHT...N winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 5 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...1007 mb low pres is centered near 30N67W, with a
warm front extending eastward to beyond 29.5N65W. The low and
warm  front will shift NE of the area this morning, with Atlc
marine  conditions gradually improving behind the low through
tonight.  Weak high pres will develop across the Bahamas today
then slide  ENE and exit the area early Tue. This will enable a
new cold front to move off the SE United States coast Mon
evening. This cold  front will move SE and extend from Bermuda
to the central Bahamas  Wed morning, and weaken from 24N65W to
eastern Cuba Thu morning.

.TODAY...W winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and W 10 to 15 kt N of 27N.
Seas 3 to 5 ft.
