Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...The gradient between high pressure over Arkansas and
a frontal boundary across the basin is producing an area of
fresh to strong winds, mainly west of the front. The front will
stall from southern Florida to near 26N95W to Veracruz Mexico on
Thu. Low pres developing along the front on Thu will generate
strong winds within 120 nm of the Texas coast. Winds and seas
will subside on Fri as the low and front gradually dissipates.

.SYNOPSIS...A frontal boundary from south-central Florida to 
29N74W will reach the central Bahamas later today, then stall 
Thu through Fri night. Strong high pressure building behind a 
reinforcing cold front Fri and Sat will cause strong easterly 
winds to develop NE of the Bahamas. Seas outside the Bahamas
will build to between 9 and 14 ft Fri through Sat night.

.TODAY...NE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and N 10 to 15 kt N of
27N. S of 27N, seas 2 ft or less. N of 27N, seas 2 to 3 ft. 
.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N,
and 3 to 4 ft N of 27N. 
.THU...NE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and NE 20 to 25 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of 27N.
