Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pres centered in SE Louisiana will continue to
support moderate to fresh N to NE winds in the eastern basin
through Sat. The center of high pres will shift eastward Sun
while it weakens, and light to moderate winds will shift E to SE
in the western half of the basin. A surface trough over the far
SW basin will enhance SE winds to fresh Sat night through Sun
morning. The next cold front is forecast to reach the coast of
Texas by Mon morning where it will stall through Wed night.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from 30N69W to the central 
Bahamas stalls SE of Andros Island to central Cuba. A surface
trough ahead of the front will merge with the front later
tonight. The front will then stall Sat morning from 30N67W to
the central  Bahamas. The stationary front will weaken through
Sun when it is forecast to dissipate. A remnant surface trough
will then move  across the NW waters through Mon night when the
next cold front  will enter the region. The new front will move
across the northern waters through Wed.
