Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front across the Florida Straits stalls over
adjacent waters of western Cuba and continues to the northern
Yucatan Peninsula. Moderate to fresh north-northeast winds
behind the front will become east to southeast winds tonight
into Sun as the front dissipates and while high pressure over
the area slides eastward. These winds will continue through Tue
when are forecast to become east light to moderate winds ahead
of the next cold front expected to move off Texas coast early
Tue and reach from the NE Gulf to near 26N91W and stationary to
near Brownsville Wed. 

.TONIGHT...E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.SUN...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.SUN NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft early in
the evening, subsiding to 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms. 
.MON...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.MON NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.TUE...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding
to 2 ft or less.

.WED...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from 31N74W to the Straits of
 Florida near 23N81W will begin to weaken this evening as it 
reaches the central Bahamas where it will become stationary. The
 front will weaken further through Sun, with its remnants
lifting  back N as a warm front through Sun night. Scattered
showers associated with this boundary and its remnants will
continue to affect the  northwest waters through Mon. A
stationary front extending along  19N to the east of 63W will
gradually dissipate through Sun  night. Fresh winds with seas to
9 ft are expected in the SE waters through Sun.
