Southeast Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from Fort Myers Florida southwestward to inland the northeastern section of the Yucatan Peninsula will move slowly southeastward across the rest of the eastern Gulf through early Sat afternoon, then become stationary from the Florida Keys to just NW of western Cuba and to the northern Yucatan Peninsula by Sat evening. Fresh to strong north to northeast winds behind the front will become east to southeast moderate to fresh winds tonight into Sun as the front dissipates and while high pressure over the area slides eastward. The front will weaken further through Sun, with its remnants lifting back N as a warm front through Sun night.
