Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will become centered across the SE
U.S. today. Winds and seas will begin to increase across the
Gulf tonight as return flow sets up across the west half ahead
of a strong cold front expected to move off the Texas coast
early Thu. The front will reach from western Florida Panhandle
to just south of Veracruz, Mexico Fri morning, and from south
Florida to Yucatan Peninsula Sat morning. A squall line with
brief gale-force winds is expected to develop just ahead of the
cold front N of 27N. Required maintenance will result in a period
when the HF FAX may not be broadcasting from 1600 UTC to 1900 UTC
today. We apologize for the inconvenience.

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extending from 31N66W through the
SE Bahamas to E central Cuba will drift SE to the W of 70W today
then move S tonight through Wed and dissipate. A reinforcing
cold front moving into the waters off NE Florida tonight will
reach from near Bermuda to Straits of Florida this afternoon, 
from 26N65W to W central Cuba Wed morning, then stall and weaken
from 24N65W to NW Cuba late Wed before dissipating late in the 
week. Swell associated with Hurricane Oscar over the central Atlc 
will affect all waters but NW portions through Wed. Required 
maintenance will result in a period when the HF FAX may not be 
broadcasting from 1600 UTC to 1900 UTC today. We apologize for the
inconvenience.
