Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from the eastern Florida
Panhandle to the central Gulf near 24N92W then continues as
stationary to NE Mexico near 25N98W. The front will shift SE to
the Straits of Florida by early Sat as high pres builds in from
the NW. Another cold front will move into the NW Gulf Mon night,
but will stall across the western Gulf through Tue night.

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Michael well N of the area over the
Virginia Hampton Roads area will shift NE into the northern 
Atlantic becoming extratropical tonight. Associated residual winds
and seas continue to improve over the SW N Atlc in the wake of 
Michael. NE swell from Hurricane Leslie will affect regional 
waters through Fri. A weak cold front will move into the NW waters
late tonight, then stall from Bermuda to N central Florida Sun 
through Mon while weakening. High pres will build in Tue and Tue 
night.

20 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of
