.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Michael near 24.1N 85.8W 973 mb at 5 AM
EDT moving NNW at 10 kt. Maximum sustained winds 80 kt gusts
100 kt. Michael will move to 25.7N 86.3W this afternoon, 27.9N
86.4W Wed morning, 29.9N 85.6W Wed afternoon, move inland and
weaken to a tropical storm near 32.3N 83.4W Thu morning, and
inland to 36.5N 75.5W Fri morning. Michael will become
extratropical as it moves to 42.5N 60.5W early Sat, and continue
to 49.0N 40.5W Sun. Conditions should improve by the end of the
week as Michael speeds off to the N and NE of the area,
potentially dragging a cold front or frontal trough down S of
31N in its wake.

30 ft. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...HURRICANE CONDITIONS EXPECTED. SE to S winds 70 to
80 kt, shifting to S 55 to 65 kt after midnight. Seas 5 to 28 ft,
becoming 5 to 21 ft after midnight. Scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms. 
.WED...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS EXPECTED WITH HURRICANE
CONDITIONS POSSIBLE. S to SW winds 30 to 40 kt. Seas 4 to 16 ft.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.WED NIGHT...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS POSSIBLE. S to SW winds
25 to 30 kt. Seas 3 to 11 ft. Scattered showers and isolated

extratropical as it  moves to 42.5N 60.5W early Sat, and
continue to 49.0N 40.5W Sun. Otherwise, a trough will continue
to move W-NW through the Bahamas today,  moving W of the area
thereafter. The pres gradient between this  trough and the ridge
will support fresh to strong winds and  higher seas near the
northern portion of the trough axis. 

.TODAY...SE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 20 to 25 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 to 10 ft in NE swell. Scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms.
