Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A 1014 mb surface high near 27N93W extends a ridge
SE to the Yucatan Basin. A weak surface trough, extending
southwest from the remnants of tropical cyclone Florence, will
linger across the north-central Gulf waters through early Tue.

Isolated thunderstorms.

the Carolinas will drag an attendant trough across the waters
north of 27N Thu and Fri.
