Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A 1014 mb surface high near 28N94W extends a ridge
SE to the Yucatan Basin. A weak surface trough, extending
southwest from the remnants of tropical cyclone Florence, will
linger across the north-central gulf waters through early Tue.
The remnants of tropical cyclone Isaac will move west across
Yucatan Channel on Tue and Wed and across the southwest gulf
waters on Thu as the ridge shifts and reorganizes W to E across
the northern Gulf. 

.TODAY...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Isolated
thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TUE...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge extending through 31N70W to southeast
Florida will gradually shift north to central Florida on Mon and
Tue. A  NE to SE orientated trough currently from the N coast of
Hispaniola to the central Atlc will shift slowly westward
through Tue before dissipating from central Bahamas to Bermuda
early Wed. A ridge will then build underneath the exiting trough
and extend  east to west along 25N-26N by mid week. 

.TODAY...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Slight
chance of thunderstorms. 
.TUE...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Slight chance of
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TUE NIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S 10 to 15 kt N of
