Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A 1013 mb surface high near 28N94W with ridge
extending SE to the Yucatan Basin. A weak surface trough,
extending southwest from the remnants of tropical cyclone
Florence, will linger across the north-central gulf waters
through early Tue. The remnants of tropical cyclone Isaac will
move west across Yucatan Channel on Tue and Wed and across the
southwest gulf waters on Thu as the ridge shifts from the
Florida Big Bend to northeast Texas.  

.OVERNIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.MON...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.MON NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge extending from 31N70W to southeast Florida
will gradually shift north to central Florida on Mon and Tue. A
NE to SE orientated trough currently SE of the ridge will shift
slowly westward through Tue before dissipating from central 
Bahamas to Bermuda early Wed. The ridge will then shift south
and  extend east to west along 26N by mid week. 

.OVERNIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.MON...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.MON NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Slight chance of thunderstorms. 
.TUE...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Slight chance of
thunderstorms.
