Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface high is centered over the W central gulf
with ridge extending SE to Florida Bay. The high will shift
south to near 27N94W on Sun with the ridge shifting W to the
Yucatan Basin. A weak surface trough, extending SW from the
remnants of tropical cyclone Florence, will pass slowly east
across the north-central gulf waters through early next week.
The remnants of tropical cyclone Isaac will move westward across
Yucatan Channel on Tue night and Wed, and across the southwest
gulf waters on Thu.  

.OVERNIGHT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to S to SW in the late
morning and afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less. Isolated thunderstorms. 
.SUN NIGHT...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE in the late
evening and overnight. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms. 
.MON...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge extending from 31N70W to SE Florida will 
gradually shift north to central Florida by early Mon where it 
meander through the middle of next week. A deep layered trough 
will shift west across the waters south of the ridge through the
 middle of next week. 

.OVERNIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S 15 to 20 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and slight chance of
thunderstorms. 
.SUN...E winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SE 10 to 15 kt N of 27N.
Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.SUN NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Chance of
showers and slight chance of thunderstorms.
