.SYNOPSIS...A developing surface trough over the southern Gulf
will shift NW toward southern Texas through Sat, and may become
a tropical cyclone Friday before reaching the coast.

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Florence 946 mb is centered near 29.0N 70.1W
at 5 AM EDT, moving WNW at 15 kt. Maximum sustained winds are 115 
kt gusts to 140 kt. Florence will move NW between the Bahamas and
Bermuda through tonight, then move north of the area Thu morning.
Outside of the path of Florence, large swell generated by the 
hurricane will affect the Bahamas and northern Florida. 

.TODAY...NE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and N to NE 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 10 ft N of 27N.
