Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak ridging over the SE United States will
generally maintain light to moderate winds over the basin
through Fri night. A trough will move west off the Yucatan coast
each evening and dissipate over the SW gulf each morning. The
trough will be accompanied by moderate to fresh winds.  

.OVERNIGHT...S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.MON...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.MON NIGHT...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms.

EDT moving W at 6 kt. Maximum sustained winds 80 kt gusts
100 kt.  Florence will move to 24.9N 59.1W Mon morning, 25.6N
61.5W Mon  evening, 26.5N 64.4W Tue morning, 27.8N 67.6W Tue
evening, and  31.2N 73.6W Wed evening. Florence is forecast to
rapidly  strengthen to a major hurricane by Monday night, and is
expected  to remain an extremely dangerous major hurricane
through  Thursday.Florence will continue to 34.0N 77.5W Thu
evening, and  weaken to a tropical storm while moving inland
over 35.2N 79.0W  Fri evening.
