.SYNOPSIS...Weak ridging from the Carolinas to the Texas coast
will shift N over the SE United States. A trough will move west
off the Yucatan coast each evening and dissipate over the SW
gulf each morning. The trough will be accompanied by moderate to
fresh winds.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.MON NIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less,
building to 3 ft after midnight. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms.

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Florence near 24.4N 56.3W 983 mb at 11 AM 
EDT moving W at 5 kt. Maximum sustained winds 65 kt gusts 80 kt.
Florence will move to 24.5N 57.4W this evening, 24.9N 59.3W Mon 
morning, 25.6N 61.7W Mon evening, 26.4N 64.5W Tue morning, and 
29.0N 70.8W Wed morning. Florence will change little in intensity 
as it moves north of the northwest offshore waters near 32.2N 
75.8W early Thu, and inland over North Carolina near 35.0N 78.5W 
Fri morning. Otherwise, a weak pressure pattern across the SW N 
Atlc will maintain gentle to moderate mainly easterly winds across
the area through Mon.

showers and isolated thunderstorms.
