Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak ridging from the Carolinas SW to the coast of
Texas will shift north through Sat, but continue to support
gentle to moderate east to southeast winds and modest seas into
early next week. The exception will be fresh winds pulsing off
the west of coast of the Yucatan peninsula, mainly during the
late evening.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.FRI...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms. 
.FRI NIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A weak pressure pattern across the SW N Atlc will 
maintain gentle to moderate mainly easterly winds across the
area through Mon. Easterly swell from Hurricane Florence will
move  into the open waters east of the Bahamas late Wed through
Sun.  Hurricane Florence is currently well east of the area near
24.6N  48.6W, moving NW at 9 kt. Maximum sustained winds 90 kt
gusts 110 kt. Looking ahead, Florence will change little in
intensity as it moves to 28.0N 59.5W Mon morning, and continues
moving NW through Tue.

.THIS AFTERNOON...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms.
