Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Gordon near 27.7N 85.7W 1004 mb at
5 AM EDT moving WNW at 15 kt. Maximum sustained winds 55 kt
gusts 65 kt. Gordon will strengthen to a hurricane near 29.0N
87.5W this afternoon, move inland and weaken to a tropical storm
near 30.7N 89.6W Wed morning. Gordon will continue inland to
32.2N 91.0W Wed afternoon, weaken to a tropical depression near
33.4N 92.3W Thu morning, and become a remnant low near 34.9N
94.3W Fri morning. Winds and seas will diminish across the
eastern and north central Gulf in the wake of Gordon.

.SYNOPSIS...Winds and seas have diminished over the Bahamas in
the wake of T.S. Gordon, currently in the eastern Gulf of
Mexico. A weak pressure pattern will maintain gentle to moderate
easterly winds across the area through Sat. Easterly swell will 
move into the open waters east of the Bahamas starting late Wed.
