Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front over the northern Gulf will
transition to a trough tonight and drift northward this weekend.
A surface trough will develop along the western Yucatan
Peninsula during the late afternoons, then drift westward during
the overnight hours accompanied by a fresh east to southeast
wind shift with the trough dissipating along 96W during the late
mornings.

thunderstorms.

.SYNOPSIS...An east to west ridge will meander from near 29N65W 
to S Florida for the next few days as a weak cold front stalls 
just off the northeast coast of Florida tonight and drifts north
through Fri night. Moderate to locally fresh southerly winds are 
expected north of ridge ahead of the front, and moderate to fresh 
trades are expected south of 23N, except becoming locally strong 
along the north coast of Hispaniola this afternoon into early 
evening. 

.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 5 to
10 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered thunderstorms. 
.FRI...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered thunderstorms.
