Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge extending westward from the Atlantic into
the northern Gulf will prevail into early next week. A nocturnal
trough will move off the Yucatan Peninsula into the SW Gulf each
night, accompanied by surge of fresh NE to E winds.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers and thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered
showers and thunderstorms.

the region through the weekend, supporting gentle to moderate 
trade winds N of 22N and moderate to fresh trade winds S of 22N.
 Winds may briefly pulse to strong along the N coast of
Hispaniola  during the late afternoons.
