Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A nocturnal trough will develop during the evening
hours over the Yucatan Peninsula before pushing offshore into
the SW Gulf each night. A surge of fresh to occasionally strong
NE to E winds will accompany the trough. The trough will become
weaker at times and allow the winds to subside. Otherwise, high
pressure ridging will generally support light to moderate E to
SE winds over the remainder of the basin through Sat night.

.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge across the forecast waters will support 
fresh to locally strong winds along the N coast of Hispaniola
and the approaches to the Windward Passage during the evening
and night hours through through tonight. Then, mainly moderate 
to fresh winds will prevail. Otherwise, gentle to moderate 
anticyclonic flow will continue N of 23N, while moderate
easterly winds will generally prevail S of 23N. 

.TODAY...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and
3 to 4 ft N of 27N. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and
3 to 4 ft N of 27N. 
.WED...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 5 to 10 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N.
