Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A nocturnal trough will develop during the evening 
hours over the Yucatan Peninsula before pushing offshore into the 
SW Gulf each night. A surge of fresh to occasionally strong NE to 
E winds will accompany the trough. The troughs will become weaker 
by mid week and allow the winds to subside. Otherwise, high 
pressure ridging will generally support light to moderate E to SE 
winds over the remainder of the basin through Fri night.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge over the W Atlc along 30N will support fresh 
to locally strong winds along the N coast of Hispaniola and the 
approaches to the Windward Passage during the evening and night 
hours through Wed night, then the ridge will weaken and winds will
subside Thu through Sat night. Otherwise, gentle to moderate 
anticyclonic flow will continue N of 23N, while moderate easterly
winds will generally prevail S of 23N.

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
