Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A nocturnal trough moving W from the Yucatan
peninsula will induce a surge of fresh to strong NE to E winds
over the Bay of Campeche each night. A weak trough will linger
over the NE Gulf through Wed. Otherwise, high pressure ridging
will generally support light to moderate E to SE winds over the
remainder of the basin through Fri night.  

.OVERNIGHT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E late. Seas
2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.MON...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON NIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE NIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will remain in place along 30N this week and
support fresh to locally strong winds along the N coast of 
Hispaniola and the approaches to the Windward Passage during the
 evening and night hours. Otherwise, gentle to moderate
anticyclonic flow will continue N of 23N, while moderate
easterly winds will  generally prevail S of 23N. 

.OVERNIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. S of 27N, seas 2 ft or
less. N of 27N, seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 to 4 ft late. 
.MON...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.

2 ft or less.
