Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A nocturnal trough moving off the Yucatan peninsula 
will induce a surge of fresh to strong NE to E winds in the Bay of
Campeche each night. Otherwise, high pressure ridging will 
prevail across the area, supporting moderate to locally fresh SE 
winds over the west-central and NW Gulf most of the forecast 
period. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE to S late.
Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON NIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E 10 to 15 kt
in the late evening and overnight. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will remain in place during the next several 
days and support fresh to locally strong winds along the N coast 
of Hispaniola and the approaches to the Windward Passage during 
the evening and night hours. Otherwise, gentle to moderate 
anticyclonic flow will prevail N of 23N,while moderate easterly 
winds will generally prevail S of 23N.

15 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less.
