Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure ridging will prevail across the area
through early next week, supporting moderate to fresh SE winds
over the west-central and NW Gulf. A nocturnal trough moving off
the Yucatan peninsula will induce a surge of fresh to strong NE
to E winds in the Bay of Campeche each night.  

.TODAY...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE to S in the
afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN NIGHT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE late. Seas
2 ft or less. 
.MON...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON NIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will remain in place across the forecast
waters  during the next several days, maintaining a gentle to
moderate  anticyclonic flow N of 22N, while mainly moderate
easterly winds will prevail S of 22N. The ridge will shift
northward to 28N  through early next week. This will allow fresh
to locally strong  winds to blow off the northern coast of
Hispaniola to include the approaches to the Windward Passage
during the evening and night hours. 

.TODAY...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 10 to 15 kt N of
