Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure ridging will prevail across the area
through early next week, supporting moderate to fresh SE winds
over the western and central Gulf. A nocturnal trough moving off
the Yucatan peninsula will induce a surge of fresh to strong NE
to E winds in the Bay of Campeche each night.  

.OVERNIGHT...NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT NIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE. Seas 2 ft or
less. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.SUN NIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E to SE late. Seas
2 ft or less. 
.MON...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...A surface ridge extends along 25N, maintaining light
to gentle breezes over most of the basin. The ridge will shift 
northward to 28N through early next week, allowing moderate to 
fresh easterly flow south of mainly 22N by late Sat, pulsing to 
strong winds during evening and overnight hours off the northern
 coast of Hispaniola through mid week.

.SAT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to 15 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less.
