Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A trough in the central Gulf which is an extension
of a tropical wave which is moving across the Yucatan Peninsula
will shift W through the remainder of the weekend. Locally
developing surface troughs over the Yucatan Peninsula will
produce fresh winds over the eastern waters of the Bay of
Campeche from the early evenings to overnight hours during the
next few days. Otherwise, high pressure ridging will prevail
through the upcoming week.  

.OVERNIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 ft late. 
.SUN...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding
to 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.SUN NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 to 4 ft late. 
.MON...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.MON NIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TUE...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding

.SYNOPSIS...Winds will pulse to fresh to locally strong speeds 
near the northern coast of Hispaniola each night through Thu night.
Otherwise, ridging will weaken as a backdoor cold front continues
to shift SW into the zones E of 75W. The front will weaken into a
trough by early on Mon as new high pressure begins to build 
southward over the forecast waters through Thu. Weak low pressure
may develop along the trough by mid-week, dissipating thereafter.
