Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A trough extending from 28N85W to 25N87W and to near
22N87W will move westward across the southern and central waters
through Sun night accompanied by scattered showers and
thunderstorms. Numerous showers and thunderstorms over the
western gulf waters will continue through Sun night. The
northern portion of a tropical wave that will move across the
Bay of Campeche Sun through Mon may also be accompanied by
scattered showers and thunderstorms. Surface troughs moving
offshore the Yucatan Peninsula will produce fresh to locally
strong winds over the eastern waters of the Bay of Campeche from
the early evenings to late at night over the next few days.
Otherwise, high pressure ridging will prevail in the wake of the
tropical wave.

.SYNOPSIS...Winds will pulse to strong speeds near the northern 
coast of Hispaniola each night through Wed night. Otherwise,
trade winds across the region will gradually diminish through
early next week as a ridge across the Atlantic weakens, and
while at the same time a backdoor cold front presently over the 
northeastward portion of the area advances southward to near
27N. The front will weaken into a trough by early on Mon as new 
high pressure begins to build southward over the forecast waters 
through Thu.
