A surface trough extending from northeastern Florida southwestward to the NE gulf near 28N85W will slide east of the gulf this evening. Another surface trough will move into the NE gulf early next week followed by a weak cold front that will move over the north-central and NE gulf waters. This front will become stationary and weaken to a trough by Thu. The troughs and front will continue to bring scattered showers and thunderstorms over much of the NE gulf waters through much of next week.
