Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure ridge across the Gulf along 25N
will prevail throughout the week. Active convection is expected
across the northern Gulf during the next few days. A surface
trough will move off the Yucatan Peninsula into the Bay of
Campeche each evening, accompanied by fresh nocturnal winds.  

.TONIGHT...SW to W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.FRI...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.FRI NIGHT...W winds 10 to 15 kt,  shifting to S to SW late. Seas

.SYNOPSIS...Strong high pressure across the central Atlantic 
extending SW to the NW Bahamas will remain in place through 
Sunday. Generally tranquil marine conditions will prevail 
across most of the region through the weekend. Squalls and a few
thunderstorms will move westward across the SE waters tonight
through Fri associated with a tropical wave.
