Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure will prevail across the area
through Wed. A surface trough will move westward off the Yucatan
Peninsula each evening through Wed. It will enhance nocturnal
winds over the eastern Bay of Campeche. The northern portion of
a tropical wave will move westward across the SW Gulf today.  

.TONIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Isolated showers and 
thunderstorms.
.SAT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Isolated showers and

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough extends from a 1016 mb low north of
the area near 34N68W southwestward to 31N70W and to the NW 
Bahamas. The trough will move little through Sun night while 
weakening. Scattered showers and thunderstorms can be expected 
along and SE of the trough to near 25N. High pressure building 
westward from the central Atlantic through Wed will support
fresh to strong trade winds south of 23N. Winds will pulse to
strong  north of Hispaniola at night through the period.
