.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will prevail across the northern Gulf
waters through Sun. A surface trough will move westward off the
Yucatan Peninsula each evening through Sun, and enhance
nocturnal winds over the SW Gulf.

.SYNOPSIS...Recently upgraded Hurricane Chris near 33.7N 72.4W 
980 mb at 5 PM EDT moving NE at 9 kt. Maximum sustained winds
75  kt gusts 90 kt. Chris has started to move NE, and will
continue to shift away from the area tonight. Associated strong
winds and  swell will affect the far N waters through this
evening before  conditions improve. Active weather will cover
the waters south of  25N and W of 67W tonight as the remnants of
Beryl move NW across  the southeast Bahamas. High pressure to
dominate the region Fri  through the upcoming weekend.
