Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will meander across the northern Gulf
waters through Fri. A surface trough will move westward off the
Yucatan Peninsula each evening through Sat, and enhance
nocturnal winds over the SW Gulf. A tropical wave will move
across the Yucatan Peninsula Thu and across the Bay of Campeche
Thu night through Fri.

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Chris near 32.6N 73.9W 993 mb at
0900  UTC drifting NE. Maximum sustained winds remain 60 kt
gusts 75 kt. Chris will begin to accelerate toward the NE today
while  strengthening slowly, then shift away from the area late
this  afternoon and evening. Associated winds and swell will
affect the  far N waters through this evening. Expect strong
winds...high seas and active weather over the waters south of
22N today and tonight as the remnant tropical wave of Beryl
moves NW across Hispaniola  and into the southeast Bahamas. High
pressure to dominate the  region Fri through the upcoming
weekend.
