Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will meander across the northern Gulf
waters through Fri. A surface trough will move westward off the
Yucatan Peninsula each evening, and enhance nocturnal winds over
the SW Gulf, through Fri. A tropical wave will reach the Yucatan
Peninsula Thu and move across southwest portions of the Gulf Thu
night through Fri.  

.OVERNIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms. 
.MON...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms. 
.MON NIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TUE...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Chris near 32.5N 74.5W 1005 mb at
0300 UTC drifting SE at 2 kt. Maximum sustained winds 50 kt
gusts 60  kt. Chris will meander offshore of the Carolina coasts
through  Mon night while strengthening slowly, then begin to
shift  northeastward away from the area Tue. Associated winds
and swell will affect far NW waters through Tue evening. Expect 
an increase in winds and seas over the waters south of 22N Mon 
through Tue as the remnant tropical wave of Tropical Storm Beryl 
moves quickly WNW across the Caribbean. 

.OVERNIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers and slight chance of thunderstorms. 
.MON...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms.
