Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will prevail over the northern waters
through Fri. A surface trough will move westward off the Yucatan
Peninsula each evening, and enhance nocturnal winds over the SW
Gulf, through Fri.  

.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.MON...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON NIGHT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.TUE...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Chris near 32.7N 74.6W 1008 mb at 5 PM
EDT. Maximum sustained winds 45 kt gusts 55 kt. Chris will 
meander offshore of the North Carolina coast through Mon while 
strengthening slowly, then begin to shift northeastward away from 
the area Tuesday. Associated winds and swell will affect the
northern waters, north of 29N through Tue. Expect an increase in 
winds and seas over the waters south of 22N tonight through Tue 
as the remnant tropical wave of Tropical Storm Beryl moves WNW 
across the Caribbean. 

.TONIGHT...S of 27N, E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. N of 27N, NW
winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to NE to E late, then, shifting to SE
to S late, shifting to SW to W late. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N,
and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N. 
.MON...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and W to NW 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N.
